Has anyone done any research as to location of such people
ie are there more bad experiences in certain areas or is it a worldwide problem.

I am in the UK so usually access the European areas and havn't come accross the problems described in this and other threads.

The worst I come accross are impolite comments when someone doesnt use English and these comments are very few and hopefully reported.

My personal favorite are, "Thats not worth xx amount its only worth about 2k."

I'll put this simply if you disagree with the price DON'T BUY IT. I don't need to be spammed with your opinion, especially if you aren't even trying to haggle. /rant

"I don't know why, but the past few weeks, there has been so many assholes whenever I make or take offers."
Could this be because you have made some money with ur 3 months trading stint and now have moved on to medium class trading where ppl are desperate to: a) get a good deal; b) sqeeze as much profit as possible; c) look for a noob that they can take advantage of.

So you see the higher you go the more @$$ holes you meet. thats just the way the cookie crumbles.
That seems about right

My sentiments exactly. If I wanted your opinion, I would ask for it. It is so annoying to have some Wammo in full black fissure tell you that your req9 pyroclastic is only worth 25k. lrn2plaiplzebayingwillmakeyougoblindkkthxbai!!!

Wanna avoid asswipes? gogogo guru auctions! lol

Though I love the people who wont tell you what they want. They are either just waiting for you to offer higher then they wanted or cuss you out if you offer them lower then they want.

Just wanted to remind people that I'm asking if anyone realized the INFLUX of rude and disrespectful buyers/sellers RECENTLY. I know that there will always be a-holes in GW, on the internet, and in this world, but that's not what I'm concerned with.

Yeah, I hate sellers who do that. It wastes time and causes unwarranted headaches. If you want to sell something, stop it with the "offer" crap. Either name your asking price or don't be a dick if you don't like my offer because you refused to name your price.

This isnt a doomsayer post or a GW dieing post.

But i think the economy as well as GW is just dieing at a fast speed right now. People were occupied with the holidays from Halloween to Wintersday. Now after the holidays are over, you go into KC, LA, KAMA and you'll see that people have lowered prices on almost everything and that you will hardley ever find someone posting WTB. Every weapon has been found and has had more than ample time to be over farmed. You dont get the "worth" of items that you used to when you farm now. I used to hear about farming all the time, especially before GWEN came out. Now i rarely hear people farming various things.

So basically my point is - people are pissed because when they make a sell or a buy its like pulling teeth. Its now getting to the point where its hardley worth the time to try to sell or buy/hardley worth the effort to try to get something to sell.

I gave up using Kamadan, LA, or Kaineng to sell/buy things and I find it faster to look up or post on Guru (or whatever site i happen to be selling/buying stuff on). The very idea of standing around for minutes or hours spamming WTB/WTS has lost all appeal.

I don't even bother trading, If I don't find something I want or can't sell something I wanna get rid of in about 5 mins time, I give up, if I get a bite on something I'm selling and the person tries to haggle with me, i just stop talking to the person. you want what I'm selling, pay my price or look else where.
